Indian Journal of Sericulture is an International Scientific Journal published by Central Silk Board from CSRTI, Mysore since 1983. The journal publishes original research findings, review articles and short communications relating to all aspects of sericulture and silk technology. It is the premium peer reviewed publication in sericulture from the country and has wide publicity among all sericulture countries and various universities in and outside the country. It is a half yearly journal, published in June and December.

Currently, there are about 200 life members and 150 subscribers for the journal. It is planned to make the journal online and an e-journal in coming years, so as to reach the scientific community at the shortest time.

Research papers, reviews and short communications on sericulture will be accepted only from subscribers of the journal. The annual subscription charge is Rs.100/ (overseas US $ 100) and the life membership is Rs.750/ (overseas US $ 500), which are likely to be revised shortly. Besides, there will be publication charge of Rs.100/per article. The Director, CSRTI, Mysore is the Executive Editor of the journal and the Scientist D, PMCE has the overall charge of the publication of the journal.
